I opened my beauty advent calendar the other day to find a tiny bottle of Bioeffect EGF Serum. I first tested this years ago and remember being very impressed but for some reason I didn’t write about it and it got lost amongst all the other things that I was testing at the time. However, after applying it a couple of times over the last few days I have realised that this is a very special product indeed. It has made a real difference to my skin which was looking very tired and lacklustre. I’ve been applying it before bed and waking up with smooth, radiant skin that feels really moisturised and comfortable. I’m always very excited about a product that makes a palpable difference to my skin, especially when it does so in a matter of days.

The serum created quite a stir when it was first released a few years ago. I remember going to the launch where I sat down with a very dishy (do people still use that word?) scientist who explained that it was the first product to contain cellular activators, which are natural to human skin. I didn’t have a clue what he was going on about and was feeling a bit hungover at the time which didn’t help….rest assured though, a great deal of scientific research has gone into this serum which perhaps explains the hefty price tag of £125 for 15ml.

I’ve just seen that you can buy Bioeffect products at Here’s the link. Perhaps a little Christmas pressie for yourself?
